I would like to share with you some of the photographs taken during my visit to India between November 3 and 10, 2022, as chairman of The Nippon Foundation and WHO Goodwill Ambassador for Leprosy Elimination.

At a special session with Miss India (second from left) and Miss Brazil (third from right) on the final day of the three-day forum, where I told the gathering: “It was a deeply moving experience for me to see representatives of people's organizations from around the world come together to hold the 2nd Global Forum. You are united and raising your voices together. I hope that all of you go back to your countries and tell this to your peers and unite even more. This will lead to an improvement in the living condition of all people affected by leprosy.”
