Competition Announcement: I’M-POSSIBLE Hackathon

Published on September 15, 2021

The Nippon Foundation, in cooperation with the Israeli Embassy in Tokyo, is sponsoring a competition to produce innovative solutions for everyday challenges faced by people with disabilities. While the event is being billed as a hackathon, it is in reality more of an idea-a-thon, in that no computer programming will be necessary. Further, the end product for submission will not be a piece of software, but a three minute video presenting the team’s idea.

Prizes will include a USD 5,000 first prize (to be used toward further development of your idea, in collaboration with a company designated by the organizer) as well as several smaller prizes with a total value of USD 20,800.
