
Accessibility & Universal Design Training Course for People with Disabilities
From July 17th to 30th, AUN-DPP, which receives funding from The Nippon Foundation, will be offering a training course for People with Disabilities, in the area of Accessibility and Universal Design. COURSE OVERVIEW
The program is a fundamental course to acquire the skills of understanding accessibility and universal design. This FULL TIME comprehensive course focuses on policies & implementation, on how the participants can apply the skill learnt in their hometown. The training is based on the access auditor training course developed from UNESCAP. Lectures, workshops, fieldwork, simulation and case studies are the methods to be utilized in order to gain knowledge and practical hands-on training. Duration of course is 14 days from 17th 2022 to 30th July 2022 at Universiti Malaya.
Who Should Attend
Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) from ASEAN countries who are Academics, Tutors and Self-Employed or Working for an Organization, Government Agencies and Businesses, who intend to be Access Inspector. This year, the courses will be conducted in hybrid mode.
Physical Mode (P) - Malaysian and ASEAN PwDs who reside in Malaysia
Online Mode (O) - ASEAN PwDs (non-Malaysian) are welcome to apply and attend this course virtually
